Followings are Ingredients:
  • 1 kg of Gunda
  • 1 Fresh but Raw Mango
  • 300 gms of Methi Seeds
  • 1 tbsp Haldi Powder
  • 1/2 tbsp Hing)
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 1/3 ltr of Oil
The making of the Gunda Achar is simple.

Process of Making Gunda Achar:

  1. Remove the seeds from raw gundas with salted spoon and let it dry.
  2. Meanwhile you can keep grind methi to make its powder.
  3. Wash mangoes properly and cut it and mix it with the Haldi and slat
  4. Now Mix properly remaining all the masala and methi powder to the cut mango
  5. Put 3 cups of Oil on the stuve to heat it
  6. Add allowed the gundas cook on slow fire for some time
  7. After that let it be cool and then fill in the gundas in air tight jar which should be cover with the oil.
  8. Keep it as it is for let’s say a week time in cover the jar tightly
  9. After a week time your Gunda achar is ready to eat
Gunda Achar is very healthy in the winter season as Gunda Achar contains meethi which is hot in nature. Gunda Achar is tasty too.

  1. Gunda is a berry with one seed, I don't know the English term for it. When cut is exudes a stick sap like glue; that is why we have to soak it in lemon juice.
