Sabudana Alu Chakli

( 1 ) 250 grams sago
( 2 ) 5 kg potatoes
( 3 ) White chilli powder
( 5 ) Citric acid
( 6 ) Salt to taste
Method
( 1 ) In the morning soak the sago in water for 3 hours.
( 2 ) Boil, peel and mash the potatoes. Strain the sago and crush it in the mixer.
( 3 ) Mix the sago, salt, red chilli powder, cumin seeds powder, citric acid and mashed potatoes. Mix well.
( 4 ) Make the sev with the sev making machine. Dry the sev in sun. Preserve in bottles.
( 5 ) For the chakalies : 1 kg potatoes, 500 grams sago.
Soak the sago in water overnight. Mix sago and boiled, peeled and mashed the potatoes. Add all the masala as mentioned in the above recipe. Make the chakalies with the chakali machine. Dry in sun. Fry the sev and the chakalis in hot oil before serving.
Note : For potato-sabudana sev potatoes and sago can be also taken in equal amounts.
