Sev Ganthia Nu Saag


Ingredients


  • 1 cup Sev(ganthia)
  • ½ tsp Cumin seeds (Jeera)
  • ½ tsp Red chilli powder (Lal mirch)
  • ¼ tsp Garam masala
  • ½ tsp Sugar (Chini)
  • pinch of Asafoetida (Hing)
  • ¼ tsp Mango powder (Amchoor)
  • ¼ tsp Coriander powder (Dhania)
  • Coriander leaves (Dhania patte) - A few chopped
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • Salt to taste

Directions

  1. Mix all dry masala in 1 cup water.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, add seeds and asafoetida, allow to splutter.
  3. Add masala solution, simmer the flame and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add sugar and stir to dissolve, then add ganthia, stir, garnish with coriander.
  5. Enjoy hot Sev Ganthia Saag with thepla or roti
